The West Genesee CSD has an immediate opening for a part-time, ten-month Custodial Worker I at Onondaga Road Elementary School. The work hours are 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

A Custodial Worker I performs routine cleaning and semi-skilled maintenance tasks and is responsible for the efficient and economical cleaning and maintenance of a school building or an assigned section. Duties typically include:
  • Performing a variety of cleaning tasks (e.g., sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming floors; dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning walls, restrooms, and fixtures).
  • Making minor, non-technical repairs to building and equipment.
  • Moving and arranging furniture and equipment.
  • Operating and maintaining building cleaning equipment (e.g., buffers, floor scrubbers).
  • Performing general grounds-keeping tasks such as snow removal or lawn care as needed.
  • Reporting maintenance needs or concerns to a supervisor.

The West Genesee School District is accepting applications for an anticipated, full-time probationary, Kindergarten Teacher at Onondaga Road Elementary School, effective September 1, 2026.

Salary & Compensation: The salary for this position is competitive and based on the established Teacher Salary Step Schedule for West Genesee Teachers’ Association and commensurate with verified years of teaching experience and level of education.
