Teaching Assistants (New York State Teaching Assistant Certification Required)

West Genesee Central School District has an immediate opening for a full-time Special Education Teaching Assistant at Camillus Middle School.  Responsibilities include working with individual students or groups of students on instructional activities and tasks, and related work as required.

This is a full-time, 10-month position.

• Possession of Teaching Assistant certification in New York State. 
• Willing to work towards a knowledge of curriculum and instruction as it relates to academic and social/emotional learning.
• Experience with children and some knowledge of childhood development.
• Demonstrates integrity, honesty, patience, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
• Is skilled at establishing positive working relationships.
