Job Description

The West Genesee Central School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated, part-time UPK, Special Education Teaching Assistant for our UPK program at BrightPath Camillus Early Learning and Child Care located at 3711A Milton Ave, Camillus.

This is an immediate opening effective through 6/26/26.

NYS Teaching Assistant certification preferred.

This is a part-time, 5-hour-per-day, 10-month, term appointment which follows the school calendar.

 

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications Possession of or willingness to pursue Teaching Assistant certification in New York State. For information on obtaining a TA certification, go to: https://www.ocmboces.org/teacherpage.cfm?teacher=1276 Willing to work towards a knowledge of curriculum and instruction as it relates to academic and social/emotional learning. Experience with children and some knowledge of childhood development. Demonstrates integrity, honesty, a lifelong commitment to learning. Is skilled at establishing positive working relationships.
